Preserving Faith

Deut 30:19 Now Choose Life

Isaiah 55:8-9
New International Version
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

2 Chronicles 7:14
King James Version
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Hebrews 10:23-25 (KJV)  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

  1. Hold Fast...keep the last command your ears heard.

  2. Faith comes by hearing...Your Testimony has power (Rev 12:11)

  1. It is the execution of the promise of GOD in your life

  2. It is therefore an extension of GOD’s Word coming to life

  3. It provides the unbeliever/saint with tangible proof of GOD’s ability

  1. Is He faithful? (Build on the students recollection of GOD’s fulfillment of HIs promise)

  2. Consider the benefits of building up your fellow servant/heir when you encourage them to HOLD FAST to the faith.

  3. We must get this right, the ability to encourage one another, before we can take it to the streets. (e.g. encourage those around you to hold on and we will begin to see visions/dreams come to pass)

    1. Don’t become discouraged when other prosper (Gal 5:26) but be encouraged that your day is on GOD’s calendar too

    2. Galatians 6:4-5 Amplified Bible 4 But each one must carefully scrutinize his own work [examining his actions, attitudes, and behavior], and then he can have the personal satisfaction and inner joy of doing something commendable [a]without comparing himself to another. 5 For every person will have to bear [with patience] his own burden [of faults and shortcomings for which he alone is responsible].

Gal 3:14-29

Rom 4:13-21

Heb 6:12-15

Heb 10:35-36
   1) Mark 13:32-33

Acts 1:4

Are You Coming Short or Bringing it Home?

    1) Heb 4:1-3

Transformation can only begin with a promise. This promise must be a set of instructions that is capable of overwriting the current instructions

Luke 1:70-74 (KJV)  As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

Who/What is your enemy today?

There is a promise of salvation from GOD and it ensures your victory

We are to serve Him without Fear (e.g. Love, Power and a Sound mind 2 Tim 1:7)
